This site is intended to inform the Pack 1504 Scout parents about upcoming events as well as to provide easily accessible resources so we can deliver a quality program for our boys.

Pack 1504 was chartered in 1968 by the Waynewood Elementary School PTA in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County, Virginia.  We are a fun pack enjoying activities such as family camping, hiking, raingutter regatta, scouting for food drive, pinewood derby, George Washington’s Birthday Parade, Blue ’n’ Gold Banquet, Waynewood Independence Day Parade, Potomac Nationals Baseball Game, Community Service, other local outings and loads more.  Each scout has the opportunity to attend a week-long summer day or resident camp.  Boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade (7 to 10 years old) are shown friendship, citizenship, character development, and personal fitness in a family oriented pack.  We have Pack Meetings once a month, where we encourage all family members to attend.  Den meetings are usually twice a month.  Our goal is to make the Cub Scouting Program a meaningful journey of personal growth, learning, and most importantly, FUN!  Please join us, and have fun with your son in the exciting and character-building world of Scouting!

Pack 1504 is a member of the BSA National Capital Area Council and the Colonial District, which provide programmatic guidance, resources, training and support.  Each month during the school year, Cub Scouts participate in a Pack meeting and one to three Den meetings or outings (depending on age).  Each Den meets at a time and location that is convenient for its members.  Activities are intended to promote the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness.  From Lion Cub to Webelos Scout, Cubs learn new things and new skills that they use to meet new challenges as they get older.
